Apr 28, 2011 CSS and SSI improvements confirmed.
Up until today the improvements in search accuracy have been theoretical, give or take the News section testing. Today, however, the changes have been applied to Genesis and confirmed. If you had searched for the term "Joshua" you would receive 51 results because of the way the pages were designed and the search indexed them. Now there are 0 results, which is as it should be, because there is no reference to a Joshua in Genesis.
Installed another transmission and the car is running well.

Apr 22, 2011 Tweaking page height and footer
Found the minimum height of the site needs to be longer to accomodate higher resolution monitors. Shrunk the size of the footer. Generally tweaking the appearance before incorporating it throughout the site. Waiting for transmission to be delivered.

Changes are going to be delayed until I have a another one back in and the business vehicle is up and running.

For a while, there are going to be parallel versions, old and new, of the site until all pages are updated. This is to keep from having broken links.

Apr 13, 2011 Welcome to the new look and feel of 3scriptures.org!
For some time now, I have been contemplating improvements, particularly in search results and general administration using Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and Server Side Includes (SSI). The CSS will enable quick, site wide style changes. The SSI will limit the amount of information the search engines have to index to the essentials. When complete, the combination of changes should improve overall useability and search result accuracy.
While researching CSS, I played around with the look and feel of the website..In the coming weeks, these changes are going to be incorporated throughout the site .
